I have been composting for a few years now, but only since last year have I been doing above-ground composting (I used to just bury it). I have a big plastic tube-like container that is freestanding and has holes all over the sides so the compost can “breathe,” and decompose more easily. There is no bottom and no lid. He has lived outside his whole life, ate table scraps, was matted, no vet, and not attention. We took him into our home and he has done great! Then he started eating the towels in is crate, then he busted out of his crate and ripped my curtains, then he destroyed the plastic tray into shreds.
