I want to give my sister in law a decent gift for her wedding and have decided on cash. Ok so I spilled some candle wax a couple times on one of my shelves and on my dresser, and it leaves nasty hardened wax residue (obviously). I scrapped it with a hobby knife and most of the big chunks came off, but there was a lot of hardened spots that looked like smeared wax on the wood. Some of the wood was torn off in the process, so now it’s even worse. What can I do?
