by yeetong Question by Ice: Should I seek medical help for a cut from a blade? I cut myself with a metal blade (scraper; was using it to scrap sticker off of a plastic board). It bled alot and didn’t stop bleeding even after I put alchohol/antibiotics(?) on it & bandaged it. The next morning I changed the bandage but it was still on the verge of bleeding –not clotting very well. The cut is about 1 inch? It’s pretty deep.. maybe 1/4 or 1/3 of an inch; on the palm/skin under the thumb.. it’s been throbbing too. I don’t know the last tetanus vaccination I got was.
