The rubber was very bad, hardened in some parts and some parts we soaked with water. The cast iron flange looks like part of it has vanished, about a one inch length and 3/4 inch vertical, at the upper most left edge. The house was built in 1952 and I am kinda thinking that the parts have never been replaced. I scrapped the rubber away but am wondering what do I do about the flange. I have a question about a clarinet? My friend bought me a lazaro brand clarinet. I know they are considered “trash” but I really want to learn to play the clarinet. I don’t have the $100 bucks or so to put out for a used one at a pawn shop or even for a decent used brand. $20 is a lot of money for me right now. But anyway, will it be enough to get me started with the basics, until I can scrap together enough $$ to buy a more decent brand? not good…NOT good! Okay, i was in the woods with my dad’s truck unloading some straw and then i put it in reverse to get out of the woods and back onto the path. I was looking behind me to make sure i didn’t hit anything and wham* i hit something on the FRONT side of the truck! Basically, the “blinker light” (the turn signal and its plastic housing) scraped against the side of a small tree that i hadn’t seen (i wasn’t wearing my contacts, but i doubt that excuse would fly with my Dad). Anyway, the plastic portion that houses the turn-signal-light shattered into about 7 pieces. I collected the pieces and the glue is currently drying. lol. so i got my lower leg and brazillian done at a prominent laser spa in a good location. and i know what pain is.. but seriously.. when she did my lower leg… it was unbearable. and i think the only reason i survived it was because it happened to me. all the other parts she did were less pain.. but on my lower leg.. it felt like she was going over my leg with a lighter. and holding it there till you felt it. i mean.. like i said i know pain.. ive gotton my tongue pierced twice.. belly button.. five piercings in my ears.. ive had photolight burn treatments on my face.. ive been scalded.. ive had blood drawn on a regular basis.. im not squimish and ive had teeth pulled under no anasthesia…..
